  • Festival Description: M+ Cinema, as an integral part of Asia’s first global museum of contemporary visual culture — M+, is set to open on 8 June. M+ Cinema features 70 works from Hong Kong and around the world in films, documentaries, experimental cinema, video art, restored classics and newly discovered or rarely seen films. Screenings are also cross-disciplinary in nature and respond to the museum’s exhibitions and collections.
    Opening Screening programmes include
    Days of Being Wild, Xiao Wu, Hong Kong: The Establishing Shot, Performing the Image, Makers and Making, DAU Cinema Project, Film Course: Women Make Film, Screen Encounters
    and more.
