  • Festival Description: Yuen Long Jiao Festival marks its 100th anniversary in 2023. It has been held once every 10 years in the town centre of Yuen Long since 1923 and is one of the biggest and community-wide religious events in the district. The ritual involves praying and requesting deities to bestow peace and harmony in the neighbourhood. The 2023 festival will be held at the Tung Tau Industrial Area Playground on Po Yip Street. A bamboo hut is built to enshrine the Gods from five temples in Yuen Long, which is open to believers for worship.
