    Oh, To Believe In Another World
    by leading contemporary artist William Kentridge to Hong Kong, following the huge success of its world premiere in 2022. A film commissioned by the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester to accompany Shostakovich’s monumental Symphony No 10, it illustrates the story of Shostakovich and his complicated relationship with the Soviet state from the 1920s to 1960s, through charming sets made of cardboard and historical figures brought to life as puppets.
    *The programme is part of the New Vision Art Festival 2023.
