    The Great Gatsby
    , based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel, tells an extraordinary tale of stunning excess, unbridled greed and dark obsession in opulent 1920s New York. With original art deco sets and costumes by Academy Award-winning designer Tim Yip, this spirited production bursts with stylish dancing, shocking scandals and steamy jazz music performed live by Billy Novick’s Blue Syncopators, award-winning blues singer E. Faye Butler, vocalist and narrator James Seol and local veteran tap dance performer Tan-ki Wong, delightfully capturing the sound and exuberant energy of the Jazz Age.
