  • Festival Description: The racing beat will be back to Sha Tin Racecourse on 11 September – raring to go amid a flurry of activities ushering in the start of a new season. The 2022/23 Season Opening promises to be another unmissable event. The officiating guests will kick off the proceedings by striking the gong in the Parade Ring and performing the auspicious dotting of the eyes sequence on the ceremonial lion dancers to ensure the 2022/23 season gets off on a lucky start. Apart from watching the HKSAR Chief Executive’s Cup, participants can join the Conghua Racecourse Virtual Tour and run into the daily life on the racecourse through an immersive VR experience.
