  • Festival Description: The major arts tech festival ‘Creative Tomorrow’ integrates technology in live and virtual performance. Local and international artists are invited to demonstrate their artworks, as well as installations, performances, games and workshops will be offered for the audience in immersive physical arenas and simulated digital realms. The highlighted events of ‘Creative Tomorrow’ include:
    “Phygital D”
    - 8 September to 9 October 2022:
    A programme of performances and multimedia installations that blend dance, live physical performance, film, motion capture and virtual reality experiences. It transports the audience through a variety of physical and virtual dance worlds.
    “Freespace Jazz Fest 2022”
    - 26-30 October 2022:
    A five-days of non-stop music and fun events at indoor and outdoor spaces. Injected new elements including a new outdoor stage - Wonderland, an Immersive Sound Art system, related new performing technologies and a live online musical experience at Freespace, the festival shares great sounds from local and international artists and bands with families and friends.
    “Magic Tea House”
    - 13 August to 30 September 2022:
    The first live Cantonese opera performance in Hong Kong features an AI-controlled robot and utilizes arts technologies. The story of a young musician, who experiences time travelling during a visit to Hong Kong, is presented through highlight excerpts of familiar productions and musical styles from Cantonese instrumental music and southern Chinese Xiqu!
    "Borealis"
    - Feb-Mar 2023:
    A large-scale immersive installation, by Swiss artist Dan Acher, vibrantly recreating the Northern Lights at the Art Park
