  • Festival Description: Over 800 traditional Chinese lanterns, including goldfish-shaped designs, will light up Lee Tung Avenue. The lively goldfish lanterns, with their petal-like tails swaying in the gentle breeze, symbolise abundance and joyful reunion, adding a touch of poetry to the bustling streets of Wan Chai. On the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival (6 October 2025), Lee Tung Avenue will present the much-anticipated spectacle — the legendary LED Fire Dragon Fiesta. An 18-metre-long LED dragon replaces traditional incense with colourful LED bulbs. Accompanied by LED lions and a drum ensemble, the dancing dragon reinterprets one of Hong Kong's best-known intangible cultural heritage traditions.
