Festivals Event Name : Lee Tung Avenue ‘Lanterns-Lit Year of the Snake’ Related Themes : Chinese Festivals - Festivals Organiser(s) : Lee Tung Avenue Festival Description : To welcome Chinese New Year, Lee Tung Avenue will come alive with festivities, featuring over 800 traditional Chinese lanterns illuminating a 200-metre tree-lined walkway. Experience the enchanting glow of gold and red that casts a magical ambience across the night sky. Each lantern symbolises happiness and prosperity, making it a perfect backdrop for family and friends to gather. The Central Piazza will host a peach blossom garden, complete with a heart-shaped arch, ideal for capturing joyful moments. Enjoy vibrant lion dances and be enthralled by a spectacular performance featuring an 80-foot golden dragon, bringing good fortune and blessings to everyone.
