  • Festival Description: Hong Kong Ballet invites you into the whimsical world of “The Wizard of Oz” for an unforgettable journey! Join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion as they travel to Emerald City to find the Wizard of Oz and defeat the Wicked Witch! Nominated for several Benois de la Danse awards, Artistic Director Septime Webre’s boldly inventive production brings the landmark Hollywood movie to life with cutting-edge arts technology and an inspiring dream team of celebrated costume designers, complemented by live performance of Matthew Pierce’s exhilarating original music by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.
