    Abduction from the Seraglio (Die entführung aus dem serial)
    . Centered around the theme of “rescue”, the opera follows Spanish nobleman Belmonte and his servant Pedrillo as they journey to the seraglio of Bassa Selim in Turkey to rescue his beloved Konstanze and her maid Blonde. This opera marks Mozart's first masterpiece of German comic opera.
