  • Festival Description: Kung fu and martial arts films, as well as their associated industries, have always been integral to Hong Kong’s pop culture. This year holds special significance as it marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of the legendary writer Jin Yong and the 20th anniversary of the passing of James Wong. To honour these influential figures, the Hong Kong Pop Culture Festival 2024 has adopted the theme of ‘Arts & Action’, offering a journey through time to explore Hong Kong’s pop culture from new perspectives. The diverse programmes will feature thematic exhibitions, film screenings, stage performances and engaging outreach activities.
