  • Festival Description: Hong Kong Dance Company’s (HKDC) Folk Dance Medley
    Lands in the South
    showcases the distinctive local customs and cultural characteristics of Lingnan. The performance collaborates with several guest choreographers to bring together various Lingnan dances and portrays the daily lives of people from different ethnic groups and their hometown sentiments. Young talents from HKDC Children’s and Youth Troupes also perform a tea-picking dance filled with childlike wonder and Yao drum dance with distinctive rhythms, interpreting Lingnan customs and traditions while inspiring artistic legacy through dance.
